Stretch of the month: Twisting Glute Stretch

Stretching the gluteal muscle – that’s your buttock muscle – allows for greater flexibility of the hip area, a common area of soreness and tightness.

1. Sit on the floor with one leg bent and the other straight.

2. Turn your body towards the bent knee side until you feel a stretch in your buttocks.

3. Hold for 30 seconds. Repeat 3 times, before and after exercise.
